Dr. İlhan Sami Özulu is a classically trained multi-instrumentalist with over 50 years of experience playing throughout North America and Europe. From elegant dinner settings to vibrant festivals, İlhan engages with the audience personally, making every guest feel welcomed and distinguished.

Having performed alongside renowned artists such as Al Bano & Romina Power, Toto Cutugno, and Sezen Aksu, İlhan blends classical, jazz, Italian, Mediterranean and other pieces into a setlist curated specifically to complement the atmosphere of your event.

1970Formed Evrim Folk Dörtlüsü (later Evrim 5) with İhsan Seyfi Özulu
1974Charted on HEY Music Magazine’s Top 50 for 16 consecutive weeks
1978Played viola at Kültür Bakanlığı Devlet Klasik Türk Muziği Korosu
1979Received the TRT Best Composer Music Award
1981Directed the Turkic World Research Foundation Music Ensemble
1983Worked at the İstanbul University State Conservatory of Music as an instructor and performer for viola and guitar
1992Relocated to Washington, D.C. as an International Radio Broadcaster at Voice of America
1995Received a Ph.D. in Radio/TV Broadcasting from the University of İstanbul
2001Established and directed the Turkish Music Choir in Washington, D.C.
2007Graduated George Mason University with a Master's Degree in E-Commerce
2012Founded Radio Anatolia in Huntington Beach, CA
2023Conducted a country-wide tour of the United States, performing in 26 states

As of 2026, İlhan enjoys spending time with his family, broadcasting via Radio Anatolia, and continues to perform for diverse audiences across North America.
